240 years later, we are bringing this story to the stage in three locations—for choir, soloists, and piano. In a palace that once belonged to a prince—now the Goethe Museum in Düsseldorf. In the House of the History of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bonn, which preserves the story of the Basic Law’s inception. And in the Council Chamber in Essen, a place where voices are raised in debate.
Who is allowed to speak, and where? Who has a voice? Who is heard?
